In April 2008, Ireland San Filippo, LLP was named one of the “Best Places to Work in the Bay Area” by a joint committee from the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, and East Bay Business Times.

Winning companies were evaluated based on employee responses to a satisfaction survey on a range of topics including workplace culture, management practices and employee benefits. The results of the survey were based solely on employee satisfaction with the company, and Ireland San Filippo is pleased to say that our employees were extremely enthusiastic about the state of the firm, the quality of their team members, career opportunities here at ISF and the benefits provided to them and their families

Over the past several years, Ireland San Filippo has actively and consistently solicited employee feedback and suggestions to set benchmarks for ourselves and to continually improve who we are and what we do as a firm.  These comments have resulted in improved employee benefits, creative flexible working schedules, competitive compensation programs, increased software training tools, increased niche-based team-building activities and our continuous technical education program for ISF employees.

Additionally, ISF has implemented programs that provide ways for our team members to get involved in the community and to formalize our environmental conservation efforts - ISF Community Counts™ rewards all of our team members for getting involved in their local communities through volunteer work, fundraising drives and donation programs.   ISF Conservation Counts™ finds ways that to re-evaluate and reduce the natural resources that we as a company consume, as part of a long-standing effort to treat those resources with the care and consideration they deserve.  All of these programs and benefits have always had our team members’ and clients’ interests at heart, and, as a secondary consideration, we’re grateful that these efforts have been recognized not only by our team members, but now by external sources.

While Ireland San Filippo was thrilled to receive this award, we are already looking forward to improving on our best practices.  We are challenging ourselves to be a role model for our profession and are working on actively improving what has already been established and recognized as a great working environment.
